- Infection
- Blood clots
- Accumulation of blood in the knee
Warning Signs
Call your orthopaedic surgeon immediately if you experience any of the following:
- Fever
- Chills
- Persistent warmth or redness around the knee
- Persistent or increased pain
- Increasing pain in your calf muscle
